When at the gas station to fill up.....

Do you ever find your mind wandering about as the gas tank fills up as your wallet empties?

Do ever notice you get light headed from the intoxicating fumes from the nozzle of the hose when you stand next to it?

Do you find it hard to remember to get back in your car and drive home while at the gas pumps?

If you answered yes to the 3rd question then you are not alone! An elderly gentleman, we will called him Dirk, went to a near by petrol station in Wuppertal, Germany. It was a day just like every other day to Dirk. Only this time he entered......The Wuppertal Zone!

After paying the clerk for his petrol (that's gas for us on this side of the pond), Dirk put the nozzle in the tank as usual and then tried to remember what he was doing there. Confused about why he was at a gas station puzzled poor Dirk and he proceeded to walk home to his lovely wife Hilda.

After an hour, the gas station attendant noticed the car was still there but out poor hero Dirk was not. Sensing he might be in trouble, the attendant called the Polizei (that's police in German).  The German Police wasting little time and living up to their reputation for being extremely efficient, located Dirk and reunited him with his long lost car.
